Non-Use of Conflict Minerals Declaration
Adhered to the requests of OECD Guidelines for Responsible Supply Chain Due Diligence of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, United Nations Principles on Business and Human Rights, Code of Conduct for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA),as well as Guidelines for Responsible Management of China's Responsible Mineral Supply Chain, Maya Creation (including Shengzhen Maya Electronics Creation Co., Ltd., and Maya Creation (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.,) does not purchase and use Coltan (Ta), Cassiterite (Tin), Wolframite (Tungsten), and Gold or its derivatives (collectively referred to as "conflict minerals") from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its neighboring countries and from areas under the control of any armed forces in those countries.
Maya Creation (SZBROAD TECHNOLOGY (HK) CO LTD) has adopted the non-use of conflict minerals into the supplier's green product policy for supply chain management, and ensure that the products Maya Creation provides do not use above conflict minerals.
At the same time, Maya Creation promises:
1) Work with supply chain partners to fulfill the responsibility of social and environmental protection, continue to pay attention to the issue of conflict minerals, and commit to investigating the supply chain in detail.
2) Do not support, accept or use conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and its surrounding countries and regions.
3) Cooperate with suppliers to trace and investigate the sources of Tungsten (W), Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn) and Gold (Au) contained in all products to ensure that these metals do not come from "conflict mining areas".
4) Propose vendors to pass on this requirement to their upstream suppliers.
